Thomas Hubel – Brass / Guitar / Piano

Thomas Hubel is originally from Mountain View, CA and holds a Master’s in Music in Trumpet Performance from Northwestern University. He also holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education and K-12 teaching credential from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music in Stockton, CA. He plays solo cornet with the Chicago Brass Band and trumpet in the Des Moines Metro Opera, and served as a band director at St. Francis High School in the heart of Silicon Valley before moving to Evanston. During the summer, he teaches brass with the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps – a role he assumed in 2021. He enjoys making cold brew coffee, hunting for deals on cool sneakers, and spending time with his wonderful girlfriend, Katie.
