Linda Veleckis – Violin / Viola / Piano

Linda Veleckis received her Master of Music in Violin Performance from Boston University and K-12 Music Teaching Certificate from Depaul University.

Ms. Veleckis is a teacher, conductor, violinist, violist and pianist Linda Veleckis has performed throughout the US and Europe. In recent recitals, she has performed the complete sonatas of Beethoven and Brahms and composers of the Baltic diaspora.

Until recently, Linda served as Director of Orchestras at Carl Sandburg High School (Orland Park), where she conducted three orchestras. Her private studio focuses on developing technique and preparing students for competitions and auditions on violin, viola, and piano. She performs with a number of local orchestras, most enjoyably as principal second violin. 

Her pursuits extend beyond both stage and studio: Linda has served as Executive Director of several orchestras and is in demand as a clinician, adjudicator, consultant and speaker.  She recently earned her third level Sommelier designation, combining her passions of learning and wine.
