Gretchen Martin – Piano
Gretchen Martin is a native of Kansas. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in Piano Performance with Honors from Washburn University and received a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance with a Secondary in Accompanying from The University of North Texas. Her primary teachers were James Rivers and Dr. Pamela Mia Paul. Ms. Martin studied at the Aspen School of Music for two summers where she was a scholarship recipient.
Ms. Martin has been a church musician for over 20 years in many different capacities. She has taught piano privately as well as served as an adjunct professor of music at North Central College, College of Dupage, and Red Rocks Community College. She has accompanied numerous recitals for soloists, ensembles and choirs throughout the United States and Europe and has also worked as an Operations and Education Manager for The Friends of Chamber Music in Kansas City.
