The AMI Summer Music Camp is a day camp open to all students of all instruments, ages 5 - 18 years old. Instruments including strings, voice, piano, guitar, brass, winds, and percussion. This is a great way to add academic and musical fun into your summer! AMI Summer Music Camp dates are July 6 - July 25, 2009, Monday - Friday (9am - 3pm). The AMI Summer Music Camp occurs every summer during the month of July for 3 weeks, 5-days per week.
Programs offered at the AMI Summer Music Camp includes:
- Classical Program
- Rock/Jazz Program
- Musical Theatre Program
- Early Childhood Education Program
Each day consists of 5 different academic and instructional classes such as group instruction, recording technology, music appreciation, chamber ensemble (or) rock / jazz band, and composition. Additionally to educational classes, students also have recreational time and lunch period. At the end o each day all students join together to listen to fellow students and faculty members perform during the Performance Class.
