The Musical Theater Program is open to all voice students interested in pursuing lessons and/or classes related to Musical Theater singing. Students have an option to enroll in ½-hr or 1-hr weekly private lessons with a voice teacher experience in musical theater singing and stage performance. The private lesson teacher will develop an individualized lesson curriculum according to the students needs and interests.
Group classes are offered in a variety of disciplines including voice, stage and movement, acting, and dance. Most classes within the Musical Theater Program combine elements of all the above mentioned components of musical theater performance, thus providing students with a comprehensive and exciting approach to learning the art of musical theater singing and performance.
Students participating in school and community musical theater productions are welcome to join the Musical Theater Program at American Music Institute. Taking private lessons, or a combination of private and group classes, will help students achieve their best potential in participating in local and school productions.
