Conservatory Program

The Conservatory Program is by audition only, and is geared for serious-minded musicians.  The Conservatory Program is designed to bring young musicians ages 10-18 years old to the next level of their musical education.  It combines key elements within music education to develop students ability to prepare for a career or college-education in music.  Fundamental elements include private instruction, group instructional classes, chamber playing, music theory, and music history.
Students attend their foundational classes on Saturdays for 3 hours (9am—12noon or 1pm—4pm), and attend a one-hour private lesson during the week.  Students should expect to have 1-4 hours a week outside work, including practice time.  All faculty members teaching within the Conservatory Program hold a Master degree or Doctorate in their given area of study; additionally, all faculty members are professional performing musicians with experience at the highest levels of professional classical music performance.
