AMI Philharmonic Orchestra
American Music Institute has a variety of programs, for all ages, levels and styles of music – there is something for everyone! From the young beginner, to the advanced player – the programs at AMI will give you the educational foundation that you need in order to accomplish your specific individual goals.
General Private Lesson Program
The General Private Lesson Program at AMI offers students of all levels, and all ages – from toddlers thru adults – the opportunity to receive a quality music education on a particular instrument. Private Lessons are an ideal way for students to learn basic technique, repertoire and musical skills necessary in order to play an instrument properly. Dolce Private Lesson Program
In addition to the General Private Lesson Program, American Music Institute offers an exclusive program called the Dolce Private Lesson Program. The Dolce Program offers students private lessons with AMI’s most advanced faculty members. All Dolce Program faculty members hold a Master’s or Doctorate Degree in performance, and many faculty members in the Dolce Program have experience teaching at the university-level. Group Classes
AMI’s Group Class Program offers a variety of instructional and academic classes for all levels of students. Classes are offered for 12-week sessions, with new classes starting every 6 weeks. Group Classes include instructional classes, Performance Classes, Chamber Ensemble Classes and academic classes such as Music Theory and Music History. Early Childhood Music Education Program
The ECE Music Program at American Music Institute offers young children, ages 6 months thru 5 years old, an opportunity to receive the developmental benefits music offers while having fun and exploring creativity. Three classes exist within the program; Baby Beats (ages 6 months – 1 ½ years old), Toddler Tunes (ages 2 – 3 years old), and Music-ssori (ages 4 – 6 years old). Suzuki Program
