Personal Statement

The fact that a wide and varied set of skills are required to succeed at learning the piano underlies Sarai’s thorough and comprehensive teaching methods. She combines careful repertoire choice with a variety of supplementary exercises to developing note-reading and rhythmic skills. She also encourages students to tune into their imagination so that they not only play the piano, but tell a story through the music. Furthermore, she helps her students build the habits required for practicing to become a natural part of their everyday lives.
