Sarah DupuisViolin/Viola


Sarah Dupuis received an M.Phil. in Musicology and Performance from Oxford University, United Kingdom and a Bachelors in Music from North Park University, Chicago. Teachers include Steve Bjella of UW-Stevens Point, Charlie Pickler of the Chicago Symphony and Sue Lynn of the Yehudi Menuhin School in England. A recipient of North Park University Barbara Kushino Memorial Scholarship in Music her performance experience includes Chicago Classical Symphony, Northbrook Symphony, Opera in the Ozarks and Swannee Summer Music Festival. During her Graduate studies at Oxford University Ms. Dupuis worked with Oxford University Philharmonia, Oxford Millennium Orchestra, The Oxford City Opera, Oxford Chamber Orchestra, New Chamber Opera Studio and Ocean Theatre Company.

As an AmeriCorp Intern at Northwestern University Settlements Association, Ms. Dupuis worked on the west side in various Chicago Public Schools helping to establish after school arts programs. She has been teaching private and group lessons for 5+ years and currently plays with the Northbrook Symphony, Lakeshore Symphony and Oak Park Symphony.
