Registration

AMI operates on a semester system, with three semesters a year.  Private lessons runs for either 16-week or 17-week semester, while most group classes have two 8-week sessions per semester.   AMI has variety of educational and performance-based programs for all ages, levels, and instruments.  AMI has Open Registration throughout the year for the Private Lesson Program. Group Class registration occurs until the beginning of class. To register for private lessons, group classes, recitals, or other up-coming events/educational programs.

Private Lesson Program

Private Lessons are offered for all instruments, levels, and styles of music, and are considered the most fundamental component in receiving a comprehensive education. We at AMI encourage students to schedule a meeting with an AMI Director and/or booking a trial lesson before registering for the entire semester.   Additionally, the private lesson program has open admission throughout the entire semester - thus allowing students to register at anytime during a semester.   However, registration is based on availability, and in order to secure a time slot it is recommended to register early.

Group Classes

A variety of group classes are offered every semester.   Classes include Beginning Violin I, II & III, Guitar 101, Early Childhood Classes (ages 6 months - 6 years), Music Theory, Music History, and more.
