Remus Badea – Executive Director AMI St. Charles / CEO - RemusBadea@amimusic.org  

Remus Badea holds a BM and MM in Violin Performance from Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music (CCM), and was a pupil of Ms. Dorothy Delay. Previous teachers include Mihaela Ashkenazi of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Won-Bin Yim and Piotr Milewski. Mr. Badea has played with a number of orchestras including Elgin Symphony Orchestra, Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, Key West Symphony, and is current Concertmaster of Southwest Symphony Orchestra. In addition to playing professionally, Mr. Badea’s teaching experience includes a three-year tenure teaching at the Merit School of Music in Chicago. His passion for music and high-quality musical performance standards remain to be the fundamental motivations behind founding the AMI Organization.

Autumn Voakes – Executive Director AMI Hinsdale / CFO - AutumnVoakes@amimusic.org

Autumn Voakes holds a BA in Music Business from Columbia College Chicago, as well as a performance certificate in Violin Performance from the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen. Additionally, Ms. Voakes is currently completing a BA in History / Education from NEIU. Ms. Voakes is currently writing her first music-related book entitled Teaching the Violin: A Practical Resource for the Pre-Collegiate Violin Teacher set to be published through the AMI Organization in 2010. Autumn Voakes’ experience in music, education, and business has played an important role in her ability to start and foster the growth of the AMI Organization.
